Bishops’ River Pilgrimage Demonstrates Evangelism and Creation Care
May 31-July 9
Is that a bishop paddling down the Connecticut River? It could be. The “River of Life” pilgrimage, May 31 – July 9, will take the Episcopal bishops of Province 1 and their counterparts in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America on a 40-day journey of reconciliation.
The journey starts in northern New Hampshire and finishes where the river flows into Long Island Sound. The bishops will stop along the way to talk about the importance of clean water, reclaiming green space and cleaning up the environment. People of all faiths, beliefs, and paths are welcome for any/all of the Pilgrimage.
